Ingrid Capozzoli Flinn was born in Detroit, Michigan.  She received Bachelor degrees from Wayne State University and the University of Michigan along with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from Boston University.  She has been painting the female nude for over thirty years.  She works primarily in oil on canvas, but has also worked with everything from traditional silverpoint on prepared paper, sumi ink to digital media.  She has exhibited her work across the US including Figureworks in Brooklyn and the Painting Center in New York City.   She lives and works Harlem, NY.
